Dan Videtichbased in greater Kansas City, MOP / 309-912-6932E / danvidetich@mac.comAbout MeIt all started with a large stack of guitar magazines. As a teenager, Dan would tear out photos of his favorite guitar players and plaster them to his bedroom wall. During his nearly 10-year stint as a photojournalist for The Dispatch, Dan continued to combine his love for music and photography. Dan shot the likes of The Black Crowes, Rage Against the Machine, Van Halen, Little Feat, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Buddy Guy and The Flaming Lips. In 2007, Dan discovered his true passion was not photographing people on-stage but rather behind-the-scenes and quiet moments and details that help to add authenticity to a story. Dan was hired as a staff photographer for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 Presidential campaign. He documented both the former Secretary of State and President Bill Clinton during campaign stops across the country.Today, Dan lives in the greater Kansas City metro area, where he focuses on marketing, advertising and editorial photography. His clients include: Deere & Co., Meredith Corporation, The National WWI Museum and Memorial, Cargill, Dairy Farmers of America, Smithfield Foods, YRC Freight, Applebee’s, BNIM Architects, CDW Corporation, HCA Midwest, and several colleges and universities in the Midwest.Beyond his client work, Dan has traveled to Romania and The Philippines with The Medical Missions Foundation to document surgeries and an American-run orphanage. He is currently focusing his personal projects on his immediate family, his neighborhood in the suburbs of KCMO, and greater Kansas When he's not shooting, Dan continues to play the guitar and spend time with his wife and two little ones.
